Reduced Drill Pipe Fatigue with Command Tubular Heavy Weight Drill Pipe

Command Tubular’s Heavy Weight Drill Pipe is offered with welded-on tool joints or as an integral piece machined from a trepanned bar of 4145H MOD material. Conventional-standard Heavy Weight Drill Pipe is 55,000 KSI. We can also make 75,000 KSI, 95,000 KSI, and 110,000 (integral) KSI.
Our Heavy Weight Drill Pipe is also available in standard, spiraled and non-magnetic designs, making it useful in any number of applications.
Command Tubular’s Heavy Weight Drill Pipe also utilizes a unique center upset or wear pad to increase tube life, reduce drag and differential sticking problems.

Command Tubular Services Ltd. heavy weight drill pipe is the industry standard for an intermediate weight drill stem member, and is available in standard or spiral designs, making it useful in a number of applications. It shares its dimensions with standard drill pipe for easier handling. Our heavy weight drill pipe carries a unique center upset or wear pad to increase tube life while reducing hole drag and differential sticking problems.

All tool joints exceed API requirements, and all threading is performed in accordance with API Spec 7. Our hardbanding is applied based on our customers specifications and requirements. Tungsten carbide and casing-friendly hardbanding options are also available upon request.
